December's meeting Cancelled

Ladies & Gentlemen,

It is with regret that I must inform you of the cancellation of December's meeting.  We will not be meeting on Sunday December 21, 2008.

Our next meeting will be on Sunday, January 25th, 2009.

Please plan to attend.

Please help with the responsibility to keep your fellow post member informed.  If you are friends with other post members, please let them know of this cancellation.

November meeting.

Today's meeting went well.

Points of interest:

Business meeting...
-Camp Cadet for 2009 is now to be from June 13th to June 18th, with JCs arriving on the 12th for camp setup.
-JC applications need to be handed in before March 1, 2009
-We are looking into a trip to the PSP Academy in March.
-The JC training day date will be announced.
-We are looking into a date for the "Who Dunnit" in October of 2009.

Homework from last month was gone over and discussed.

Officer Katzenmoyer lectured about Juvenile Law.

December's meeting will be on Sunday December 23rd. The officer's meeting will start at 12:30, and the general meeting at 1pm.

Thank you to all whom attended. Please inform those post members, who did not attend November's meeting, of the date for next month.

Sweet Street Sale

On November 22nd & 23rd, Camp Cadet will be having a

Sweet Street Sale at the Temple Walmart.

If you can help out on either of these days, please email Mr. Valentine with the times you can be there.  Remember, our post meeting will be on that Sunday.

October's Meeting

Hello everyone.

October's meeting went well.  Post members participated in handcuffing procedures.  Post members also had the opportunity to learn about the types and uses of the various items a PSP Trooper wears on his/her belt and uniform.

Please do not forget to complete your small homework assignment for November's meeting.

Also, don't forget to remind your fellow Post Members about November's meeting.

Meeting for Sept 14th 2008

Today's "re-orginizational" meeting went quite well. Seasoned and new members alike were introduced to what the explored post is, what they can expect at post meetings, and what is expected of them.

We will be starting the post activities in October. Classes will begin at the next meeting.

Reminder to all members to bring some type of notebook and a pen.

We want to thank everyone who attended this initial meeting.

Please remind your friends from camp that they are welcome to join us at the next meeting.

The next meeting will be held again at the Reading Barracks on Sunday October 19th.

Advisor meeting is at 12 noon.
Officer's meeting is at 12:30.
Post meeting is from 1:00-4:00.

Post Meeting

Reminder that there will be a post meeting on Sunday September 14th. The meeting will take place at the reading State Police Barracks at 1pm.
